Make the electronics work together

Direct MaxxECU 8HP control requires a supported GEN1 8HP45/70/90 TCU and matching reflash. A GEN2 MaxxECU is an ECU generation, not proof of GEN2/GEN3 transmission support. AWD and transfer-case control need separate integration. Include the transmission generation and TCU/Bosch ID in your donor details, or ask us to identify them.

Driveshafts need confirmed flange types and installed measurements. Cooling depends on mounting space, airflow and use. Wiring and calibration depend on the exact engine, sensors and ECU.

STARTUP, TUNING & TRANSMISSION WORK

Choose the support your build needs.

These are separate service offers. Confirm your vehicle, ECU, transmission and scope with our team before ordering. A service purchase does not supply a complete swap kit or reserve an appointment.

  • Base Startup Package - 2JZ / 8HP

    Supported 2JZ MaxxECU engine/8HP configurations: starting calibration and 2 hours total specialist time. Full-load dyno tuning is excluded.

  • Complete Engine & 8HP Tuning Package

    Supported 2JZ MaxxECU engine/8HP configurations: startup support, 6 hours of engine/transmission dyno tuning and up to 10 hours of log review within 60 days of the first tuning session.

    Dyno use is included at Perfect Tuning. Remote customers arrange and pay for their local dyno, operator and reliable internet.

  • 8HP Stage 1 Transmission Upgrade Service

    Upgrade work and parts only; a complete transmission is excluded. Supply your transmission or purchase one separately. Donor specification, shipping and additional work require confirmation. Tuning and the swap kit are separate.

  • 8HP Stage 2 Transmission Upgrade Service

    Upgrade work and parts only; a complete transmission is excluded. Supply your transmission or purchase one separately. Donor specification, shipping and additional work require confirmation. Tuning and the swap kit are separate.

  • Ultim8HP Kit Installation at Perfect Tuning

    Installation labour for a DomiWorks Ultim8HP bellhousing kit at Perfect Tuning in Québec. Fluids, additional parts and vehicle transport are excluded. Contact the team to confirm the donor and arrange scheduling; this is not a complete vehicle swap or a tuning package.

Choose Base Startup or Complete Tuning for the same build: Complete already includes startup assistance. Other engines, retained factory ECUs and other control strategies need a scope review. Stage 1 and Stage 2 are transmission upgrade alternatives, not complete transmissions.
