Three ways to control your 8HP

Start with your transmission generation and engine ECU. Each option below has a different wiring and installation plan.

Turbolamik

A dedicated 8HP TCU for a swap using an existing engine ECU. Plan the required engine signals and ECU communication around your setup.

  • Complete kit with controller, PCB, universal harness, program switch, LCD and epoxy

Build a complete engine and transmission control setup in one tuning environment for a supported GEN1 8HP.

  • Linked kit includes GEN2 TRACK, one LSU 5.2 wideband sensor and flying-lead wiring kit
  • Coordinate engine control, torque reduction, shifting and logging
  • Engine wiring, 8HP harness, TCU flashing and tuning must be matched to your build

What to decide before ordering

  • Your exact transmission model, generation and donor vehicle: GEN1 8HP45/70/90, GEN2 8HP50/75 or GEN3 8HP51/76.
  • Your current engine ECU and whether you want transmission-only or combined engine and transmission control.
  • The required TCU flashing, bypass-board installation or valve-body conversion.
  • Your shifter: factory BMW/Dodge, CAN keypad, paddles or sequential.
  • The harnesses, engine signals and calibration needed to complete the installation.
